The Farm

Because this is our home, we are committed to using organic, sustainable, and regenerative methods for our land. From our vegetable garden to my flower field, we do our best to be mindful of everything we are doing, encouraging plants and pollinators to flourish.

The flowers that I grow and dry for my everlasting pieces are free from chemical residues and unnatural preservation processes. Every flower and bit is harvested by hand at just the right time or foraged responsibly. They are carefully prepared and hung to dry in a cool, dark space to preserve color and form.

Everything that I currently grow on my farm is intended to be dried. I begin by sowing seeds in January and then handplant into field in early April. Throughout the growing season, I am busy weeding, watering, harvesting, drying and storing everything I have grown. At the close of each season, gears shift into botanical art production in my studio, Wildly Grounded.

If you asked me whether I love growing or creating more, I’d tell you—I need both. My inspiration lives in the space between them, sparked by moments of awe and the quiet humility of working alongside Mother Nature. Tending the land teaches me to listen, to adapt, and to see beauty not just in the bloom, but in the becoming.
